Delivery Policy
When you click to make a purchase with us legal obligations arise and your right to refund of monies charged to your credit card or paid in any other way agreed by us, are limited by our terms & conditions. You must not make any purchase through this site unless you understand and agree to all our terms and conditions. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. If you have any queries please contact us before making any purchase for any service through this website.
 
Order processing
Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment. Orders will generally be dispatched the working day following payment being received, subject to product availability as described above.
 
Shipping
Please ensure the correct shipping address is provided from the outset as title and risk will pass to you once the order has left our premises.
 
Undeliverable packages
Occasionally packages are returned to us undeliverable. Should this event take place every attempt will be made to contact you to make arrangements for re-shipment.

Delivery Options
All delivery requirements from you and commitments by us are subject to e-mail confirmation. Orders will generally be dispatched the working day following payment being received, subject to product availability. Once the order is processed and ready for dispatch, overnight delivery in South Africa is generally available by Priority Mail or Courier.
 
Priority Mail
An overnight postal service to major centres in South Africa. Parcels are delivered to your Post Office box or counter for collection. Parcels to outlying centres take an extra day. South Africa only. Note that overnight applies to the postal service and does not include order processing and dispatch of the product.

Courier Service
Overnight, door to door service, subject to e-mail confirmation. Orders to be placed before 12h00, Monday to Friday. Delivery next day before 17h00. South Africa only. This service is only available to an address where the parcel can be personally received.

Insured Mail
Delivery normally takes 5-7 working days. South Africa only.

PDA Delivery
5 working days, subject to Supplier availability.  Delivery by Courier only.  Exclusive to South Africa.

Neighouring Countries and International:
Postal Courier Service: 4 to 5 day service to main centres.
Registered Airmail Service. Allow 14 days for delivery.

Ringtone delivery
When you place a ringtone order our automated system sends you an SMS with a web link for downloading the ringtone. Our SMS service provider returns a "message delivered" confirmation when the SMS reaches your phone. At this point we have fulfilled our obligation to you and you are liable for the charges levied to your credit card. As detailed on the ringtone order pages, there are circumstances where your particular phone may not be able to receive the delivered SMS or download the ringtone. This is not a fault of our service, and you remain liable for the charges levied. Note that we do not provide support for ringtones, as there is nothing that we can change or configure on our side to correct a problem on your personal phone. We will repeat the SMS once you have configured your phone to receive the WAP message and download the ringtone.
 
Refunds/returns Policy
Note that no refunds or returns will be accepted on products that have been opened and / or product serial number registered.
Note that no refunds or returns will be accepted on products that have been updated, superceded, price adjusted, purchased elsewhere, or purchased elsewhere at a higher price.
Note that no refunds are available on purchases of ringtones.
 
Subject to the above, should you for any reason wish to cancel your product purchase, you will be liable for a 15% handling fee. You must advise us in writing of your cancellation and any such cancellation must be signed by the person who made the original purchase. The goods must be returned to us undamaged in the original packaging within 14 calendar days.

PDA
The Warranty for PDA units are handled by the Supplier/Distributor. The unit must not be returned to SA Birding cc. Please send an email to support@sabirding.co.za for more information.

* Note: We recommend that you use Speed Services Couriers (South African Postal Services) for all returns as it offers shipment tracking through a 24 hours customer helpline. Should you choose to use a carrier that does not offer a tracking facility and the goods are lost then no refund or return will be considered.
 
International customers should make use of a courier that offers: 
1. Shipment tracking.
2. Insure your package for safe return and declare the full value of the shipment failing which loss or damage will be for your account.
